In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
— Romans 8: 37-39

OBX Youth

At the Church of the Outer Banks, we love our middle and high school students (sixth through twelfth grade).  Our hope is that students and families will grow in their relationship with God, each other, and the community around them.

Weekly Events

Youth Group // Sundays // 6:15 - 8:00 PM

We have Youth Group every Sunday night from 6:15 - 8:00 PM. Throughout the school year, we’ll meet at the YMCA in Nags Head every week. We’ll spend time catching up, playing games, and listening to engaging talks. We’ll also spend time discussing different topics and praying for each other in small groups.

High School Bible Studies and Breakfast // Tuesdays // 7:00 AM

We have high school Bible studies every Tuesday morning from at 7:00 AM at the church office (2910 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head). Each week, we’ll spend time studying Scripture and learning how we can apply God’s word to our everyday lives. Breakfast will be provided every week. Rides to school will be provided for anyone who cannot drive themselves.

Middle School Bible Studies // Fridays // 3:30 - 4:30 PM

Middle school Bible studies meet every Friday from 3:30 - 4:30 PM at Parks and Rec. We’ll officially start at 3:30, but everyone is welcome to walk over to Parks and Rec after school gets out at 3:15. Each week, we’ll spend time studying Scripture and learning hot we can apply God’s word to our everyday lives. Anyone who walks over to Parks and Rec after school can be picked up there at 4:30.

Fall Retreat

All sixth - twelfth grade students are welcome to join us for our Fall Retreat. The retreat is the weekend of Friday, November 8 - Monday, November 11. For this year’s retreat, we will be staying in two neighboring houses just south of Rodanthe, North Carolina. The retreat is an awesome opportunity for students to get away for a weekend, grow closer to one another, and grow closer to God. For more information and to register for the retreat, click the “Sign up for the Retreat” link below.
