We are a church that is in the Outer Banks for the Outer banks! We have supported different local community organizations such as Ruthie’s Kitchen, Surfing for Autism, YMCA’s We Build People Program, and The Food Pantry. Let us know if you are interested in getting involved.
We are helping to rebuild Rwanda in several significant ways. We have helped financially support building a new primary school for orphan children in Kiryamo, a rural village in east Africa that consists of hundreds of orphans. We have partnered with Bishop Louis Muvunyi of Kigali to provide cows for pastors and their village. A cow will help provide milk for a pastor, his family, and his congregation. We also proudly brew Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee which supports local farmers in Rwanda. You can help us make a difference in Rwanda by giving toward these special projects.
Living Water International
More than a billion people in the world live on less than a dollar a day. 783 million people lack access to safe drinking water. Since Living Water International started in 1990, they’ve completed more than 14,000 water projects (and counting!) for communities in 26 countries. We are partnering with Living Water International and the Nkombo Island Project to rebuild a well in Rwanda in 2015. Find out more at www.water.cc and www.nkomboisland.org.
